This book explains the grandeur of art and of sculptures that is admired in the solitude of ones self and studied in moments of deep meditation. The book explores the growth of sculpture and architecture in Indic art that is imaginative and purely Hindu in origin. In surveying sculpture, the author explains that in Indic sculpture proportion or pramana, posture or bhanga and position or sthana have all been deeply deliberated and accomplished.
